Japan!
How about my new shoes?

Mmmmmm sticky things on sticks.

Second bath. Patrick was here. And now so was I. Amazing.

Yum.

Eli!

Parking space lines in the gravel. Nice.

I like this key. It floats. It's hard to misplace.

First hot spring stop. So hot! So nice. Nothing wrong with a few baths a day.

Random bowl.

Rei taking a break from driving. The best hostess ever!

The screen of my Japanese TV debut last evening.

Breakfast. No idea.

Apparently flights from Canada to Japan make crazy hairs gorw on your ears!? hmmmm.

Lennon would approve. And shower much less. What a system.

This, my friends, is a heated seat with dispatch controls for the front and back crotch jets. Yieeeeeeee.

I love this. How many times have your showered only to find the mirror totally useless afterwards? So simple. So effective.

Coffee brewing system. Fresh brewed. Not bad.

I'm a star. That's me playing a supporting role by the pole.

Now this is Japanese Seafood. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Montreal
Well getting an apartment was a real PITA. July - July leases? Bring your own appliances? Zero parking? So I eventually found a headache-free flexible lease term apartment. It was more than I wanted to spend but it's easy. Really easy living.

View to the street.

Storage locker with a vew of the park! Nice. It's huge. Not a bad workshop. (Dec 07 update: No work was actually done)

More Ontario
It's been a while - and I have arrived - but here are some more pics of the trip.

Brrr - Finally it got cold in Norther Ontrario. No snow - but cold.

More shots of the trailer.

Surf's up in Lake Superior Provincial Park.

Flat tire in Sudbury. Sudbury? What's that place all about?

Fixed it with the tools on board. Uhaul wanted me to wait hours for some guy to show up in a repair truck. I actually went to a uhaul place to try and swap the tires - but apparently that's stealing if you try it when the place is closed. Why was the guy there if the place was closed?

Winnipeg and then Thunder Bay
What's this thing? I'll give you a hit: the NIPs ain't bad.

The drive to Winnipeg was fine. My rig will do about 95 kph with a big death oscillation occurring about every 10 min. Needless to say I like dual lane roads. If you drive 85 then it's pretty stable all the time - but that's a bit slow.
We went to see a Rodin exhibit at the WAG. Bronze sculpture is REALLY hard core. Foundries are cool. There was also an impressive Chris Pratt exhibit. That man has spent many hours behind his little brushes. I am only mentioning this because, for the first time ever, I actually had a really satisfying experience at an art gallery. Pretty good eh Ag?
More carnage east of Kenora. This time the fatalities were front page news in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay. I like the dual lane roads.

Noise canceling headphones, 279 albums on the MAC dual arms rests and front/rear heat. This is how it's done. I'm still impressed with the AWD Astro Van. It seems like a pretty good bang for the buck.

The Thunder Bay apartment I lived in circa 1998-99. Yet another low-budget basement. I've been six feet under for some time now.

This is where I acquired 12% of my current knowledge. The main lecture hall at Lakehead U.

This hall-art was in progress while I was at LU. Everyday I came to school there was an impressive amount of new progress by this possessed artist. I would have needed about 100 pics to cover the 200 foot mural. They batteries died after the first two. I'm sure you get the picture.
